Anderson de Andrade
I am a Ph.D. student in Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University (SFU). I work under the supervision of Professor Ivan V. Bajić. My current research is in designing better learned codecs for machine tasks, e.g. classification, recognition, etc. This problem is commonly known as coding for machines. It lies at the intersection of information theory, learning theory, representation learning, and optimization.
